  1. Latest

    Update - 18 October: new UI, new character select, hunting, optimizations

    Here's what's new in the city today.

    🖥️ Brand new UI

    • New pause menu. A cleaner, more compact design.
    • New map. Search any location and set a waypoint in one click.
    • Game settings in the pause menu. Change your graphics without leaving the game.
    • Interface settings. Set up your HUD, minimap, compass and street names the way you like.
    • Position mode. Drag any part of the HUD wherever you want and make your own layout.
    • Smoother transitions from character select into the city.

    👤 New character select

    • Updated multicharacter screen. Faster and smoother.
    • Works with the new UI for instant transitions.
    • Starter items are still given to every new character.

    🦌 Hunting

    • Hunting rifles only work inside hunting zones. Leave the zone and the rifle is put away.
    • Every hunting zone on the map counts, not just the active one.
    • Crossbows stay zone-only, as before.

    ⚡ Optimizations

    • Better server performance. Cleanup for smoother gameplay and fewer drops.

    After the update, open Pause Menu → UI Settings to set up your HUD again. Some settings may have reset.

  2. Update - 17 October: Gruppe 6 is live, new housing, police changes

    Here's what's new in the city since the last update.

    🛡️ Gruppe 6 Security is live

    • A new cash-transport job for the Gruppe 6 crew. ATM restocking, bank collections and private deliveries, run from the Gruppe 6 tablet.
    • Levels and a skill tree. The more runs you finish, the better the pay and the trucks you unlock.
    • Police are told where you're going. When a loaded truck leaves, police get an alert naming the bank, and the crew has one panic button per run.
    • Running late costs you. Running out of time doesn't fail the job anymore, but the pay drops the longer you take.
    • Criminals, keep your ears open. Word is someone in the city sells the tools you need to hit a truck.

    🏠 Housing

    • New housing system. Houses now run on the new housing system, with a home assistant you can talk to.
    • House alarms call the police. A triggered alarm or sensor now sends a break-in alert to police.
    • House storage fixed. Opening a house stash could kick you from the server. Fixed.

    👮 Police & crime

    • Searches don't ask anymore. Police can search you without a Yes/No prompt. Robbing someone works the same way.
    • Selling drugs needs police on duty. You can only sell drugs when at least 3 officers are on duty, and that includes trap phone deals.

    🔧 Fixes

    • White screen fixed. Some players on FiveM Canary saw a fully white screen. Fixed.
    • Pure Mode Level 1

  3. Update - 15 October: vans at PDM, new cars, hands up, parked cars

    Here's what's new in the city today.

    🚗 Car dealer (PDM)

    • New category: Vans. Minivan $18,000, Burrito $28,000, Paradise $38,000, Burrito 2 $48,000, Rumpo $78,000.
    • More cars. Winky (offroad) $8,500 and Sandking (offroad) $98,500.
    • Monroe is cheaper. The Monroe dropped from $264,300 to $164,300.

    🛡️ Gruppe 6 Security: coming soon

    • A new security job is on the way: cash runs with a tablet, 4 job types, a skill tree, duffel bags and the Fenton security fleet. Stay tuned!

    🏙️ City

    • Hands up fixed. Press X to put your hands up and to cancel emotes. Police can now see when you have your hands up.
    • Parked cars stay put. Owned cars no longer vanish when nobody is near them. They stay for 60 minutes after you last use them.
    • Hospital respawn fee. If your death timer runs out and you respawn at the hospital, it costs $5,000. Wait for EMS to save your money.
    • Server stability. We fixed the crash loop that kept the server from starting today.

  4. Update - 13 October: animation menu, new inventory, fuel, day cycle

    Here's everything we fixed and added in the city and on the website over the last week.

    💃 New animation menu

    • Press F4 (or type /animmenu) to open the new animation menu with hundreds of emotes, dances and poses.
    • Quick animations. Put your favourites on Left Shift + Num 1–7 and play them without opening the menu.
    • Group animations. Invite up to 15 nearby players to play an animation together.
    • Point with B, crouch with Left Ctrl. You can still walk while the menu is open, and animations work in cars (upper body only).

    🎒 Inventory

    • New grid inventory. The inventory has been updated to the new grid layout. Your items carried over.
    • Marked bills stack normally. Marked bills are now a plain stack of notes instead of separate bundles with a hidden value.
    • Gang stashes open again. Some organisation stashes said "not registered" and would not open. Fixed.
    • Water no longer plays twice. Drinking a bottle of water ran the drinking animation twice. It now plays once.

    🚓 Police & EMS

    • Officer and medic down alerts. When an on-duty officer or medic goes down, dispatch now gets an alert so help can be sent.
    • Restore for fleet cars. Officers can now restore a burnt-out or stuck police vehicle instead of losing it.
    • Police menu options fixed. Some police target options showed an error and did nothing. They work again.
    • One prison locker guard. A single guard at the prison now handles both lockers.

    🏙️ City

    • One-hour day. A full day in the city now lasts an hour: about 37 minutes of daylight and 23 of night, with a smooth sunrise and sunset.
    • Fuel pumps tell you the right fuel. The pump now shows which fuel your car takes and refuses the wrong one, so you can't fill a diesel with petrol by mistake.
    • ID card photos. Getting an ID card could hang on the photo and still take your blank card. The photo now times out after 10 seconds, and the card is only used once the photo works.
    • Tattoos cost $1,200. Every tattoo now has the same price.
    • TVs no longer crash people nearby. Playing Twitch on a TV crashed everyone around it. Twitch is now blocked on TVs.
    • More hacking minigames. Robbery hack panels have 35 new minigames.
    • Discord status. Your Discord profile now shows that you're playing on Underground Legacy.
    • OOC chat is off. The /ooc command has been turned off to keep the city in character.

    🌐 Website

    • You must be in our Discord to apply. Your decision, your whitelist role and every announcement come through Discord, so the application form now asks you to join first. Some accepted players never got their message or role because they weren't in the server.
    • Whitelist role repairs itself. If you're accepted but missing the role, open your application page on the website and the role is given back to you.
    • Streams page. See who is streaming from the city live on Twitch and Kick, with a badge when they're in the city right now.
    • Department roster. LSPD and EMS now have a roster on the website.
    • Quieter music. The music when you open your decision and the loading screen music are both quieter.

  5. Update - 5 October: houses, police impound, break-in alerts

    Here's what we fixed over the last two days.

    🏠 Houses

    • House stashes no longer kick you. Opening your house stash disconnected some players. Stashes now open normally, and everything you had stored in them is still there.
    • Your car stays parked outside. A car parked outside a house used to disappear when you went inside. It now stays where you left it.

    🚓 Police

    • Vehicle owner check. Police and sheriffs can now check who owns a car by targeting it.
    • Impound works with the garages. Impounding a car now uses the garage impound system, so it shows up in the impound lot and can be collected from there.
    • Cars that were stuck in the impound have been sent back to their owners' garages.

    🔓 House robberies

    • Break-ins now alert the police. Before, police only got a call if the lockpick failed or the tenant woke up. A successful break-in now sends an alert too.

  6. Update - 3 October: EMS dispatch, MDT, hands up, TVs

    A big round of fixes for EMS, police and everyday life in the city. Here is everything that changed.

    🚑 EMS dispatch

    • When a player goes down, the alert now goes straight into the ambulance MDT (/mdt) instead of ps-dispatch.
    • /311 calls now reach EMS through the ambulance MDT only. Police no longer see them.
    • "Medic Down" and officer-down alerts reach EMS in the MDT and still reach police as before.
    • Going on or off duty now also sets your MDT status to Active or Off duty, so you only get calls while you are working.
    • Fixed a bug that silently lost some dispatch alerts before they reached anyone. This affected police alerts too.

    Medics: if calls still do not show up, check that your status in the MDT says Active.

    👮 Police MDT

    • Fixed lists that sometimes came up empty, and searches that showed the result of a different search. Clicking quickly between profiles is now safe.
    • The Citizens page now shows every citizen, sorted by name. Before, it only ever showed 20 people, and the search on that page only looked through those 20.

    Reminder: a report only shows on a person's profile if they are added to it as involved or charged. Writing their name in the text is not enough.

    🙌 Hands up

    • X now puts your hands up and down. There is only one hands-up now instead of three scripts fighting over the same key.
    • Cancel emote has moved from X to Delete, so it no longer drops your hands.
    • Police can still search and cuff someone whose hands are up.
    • Fixed an error that broke hands-up while the crime scripts were running.

    If X still does something odd for you: Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM, and set Hands Up to X.

    📺 TVs

    • The Use TV option now works on far more TVs: 20 models instead of 6, including furniture TVs, TV cabinets and many TVs inside interiors.
    • You can now use a TV from a bit further away (3 m).
    • New command /tvmodel: aim at a TV that has no Use TV option and send the result to staff, and we will add it.

    🩸 Blood types removed

    • Blood types are turned off. Characters no longer get a blood type, blood bags no longer carry one, and the "check blood type" option is gone.

    🎒 Starter items

    • Fixed new characters sometimes spawning without their starter pack (about 1 in 4 new characters was affected).
    • The 14 characters that missed out will receive their missing items automatically the next time they log in. No need to open a ticket.
